Lola Turns TWO!!!

I seriously can't believe Lola is two!  But it happened.  She had a birthday yesterday and I couldn't stop it.  She is currently obsessed with Elmo!  So her cake had Sesame Street on it (Elmo and Big Bird).  Her wrapping paper had Sesame Street on it.  And her balloon had Elmo's face on it!  She LOVED it all!

One of the best parts of the day?  She was on TV!  She loves watching Sprout so I sent an e-mail birthday greeting in a couple weeks ago!  They actually played it!  WOO HOO!  Of course I took a picture of the TV with the card on display!  And of course I've watched the recording about 82 times since it was on!  Who wouldn't?! ;)

Then here are some photos of Lola opening her gifts.  At first, she was WAY more interested in playing with the camera.  She was pitching a major fit that she couldn't have it.  That was cool (sarcasm).  Then she realized she was getting some awesome Elmo (Mo, as she calls him) presents and all was well!

Here is a photo of the cake.  Billy forgot to take a picture when Elmo and Big Bird were on the cake.  But I promise they were.  They were driving down the street in some chic little cars.  It's true.  Now Lola drives them all over the kitchen floor!

It's been a pretty amazing two years.  We're so thankful to have Lola and we're looking forward to all the years to come (except for maybe when she's a teenager......)! :)
