Well, Blake has amazed me once again! Do I brag too much? Sorry. I'm just extremely proud of the awesomeness that is Blake! He was asked to do a little video talking about his dad and what it means to have him deployed. Blake was pretty nervous and really didn't want to do it because the video would be shown at the 4th grade Veteran's Day program. He is a wee bit like me and doesn't like having crowd attention. Now, don't get me wrong. If I could be on Last Comic Standing, I would totally (not really) do it. (Probably because I'd most definitely win???). But normally, I'd rather stick forks in my eyes than speak or do anything in public. Blah. I just got a little nauseous at the thought of it.
Anyway....I give mad props to Blake for being braver than his wimp of a mom! He rocked the video. It was so fun to see it on the big screen during the program! Billy was even able to come home to watch! YAY! So to sum it all up, Blake is RAD! The songs they sang in the program were fun. And it was neat to hear him talk about his dad, who is currently deployed to Afghanistan. Layne....we salute you and truly thank you for your continued service to this country!

Pacers!
I decided to make my friend, Beth, a post of her own! I can't remember if I wrote about them moving away. It was (and still is) very sad for me. I was quite surprised when she stopped by a couple weeks ago and we got to watch Once Upon A Time together! YAY! Then she told me she'd be back the next weekend (last weekend). Woo hoo! I got to see her Friday afternoon. Then she was able to get tickets to a Pacers game (opening night) for Saturday. I was so glad to get to spend more time with her! It made me realize how much it sucks that she doesn't live here anymore. She's the best! We had a blast. There is no better way than to go into double OT and WIN your first home game! I'm glad we were there to watch. Also, I got to see Jimmer sitting on the bench for the Sacramento Kings. And I got to watch Francisco Garcia (#32) play. We all know he is a former U of L player. My favorite thing? Calling DeMarcus Cousins (former UK....GAG....player) a flopper. It wasn't just me. Everyone did it. So it was cool. :) Anyway....thanks for being awesome, Beth! I miss you!!!!

There are A TON of pictures from my phone so I have to include them. Even if they show up very small because I don't know how to make them bigger! SORRY! Get out your magnifying glass!
I'm starting with Blake and 3v3 over the summer! Then there is one random photo from the Crew game. Followed by a picture from football and one of me and my friend, Susan! Then more first day of school pics and the back to school dinner. After that, there are pics from soccer and pics from Blake's birthday party! Then there are some pics of my NKU get together followed by pics from my color run and my birthday dinner! Then there are Blake's birthday pictures and my Indy half marathon. Then a random picture of me and Lola! Next up is Halloween, Blake's Soctoberfest tournament (they took second place), the Ultramarathon picture, and the tiniest stop sign I've ever seen! Enjoy!

So I decided to include the photos from the Columbus Crew/DC United game! There are only a couple but we sure had a blast! Below those photos, are pictures of Blake's first day of school! And I had to get a photo of his Planetbox. We LOVE it. I get tired of throwing away lunchboxes after every school year! Now I don't have to! Woo hoo! And finally, there are pumpkin carving pics! Now I have to do a post of cell phone pics! YAY! :)
